A biodigester is a natural system that uses anaerobic digestion in the absence of oxygen bacteria that already live in manure, to transform it into biogas and fertilizer. Biogas can be used as fuel in kitchens, or lighting, and large facilities can be used to power a motor that generates electricity. The fertilizer you get is rich in nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus, excellent natural fertilizer for crop improvement.
The use of domestic biodigesters is widespread in Southeast Asian countries and begins to grow in South America. On the feedlots where the cows are fed before going to the slaughterhouses, the manure that is made by the cows needs to be removed to make room. What we can do for the companies is convert the rumen, the fermented grass in the stomach of the cow, and manure, which are both biogases, to electricity and energy.
Electricity and energy for the feedlot itself and for possible 3rd party consumption. ECR Solar biogas project is: Electricity and energy for the feedlot itself and for possible 3rd party consumption.
The rumen on the left side of the animal is the largest of four compartments and is divided into several sacs. It can hold 25 gallons or more of material, depending on the size of the cow. Because of its size, the rumen acts as a storage or holding vat for feed. It is also a fermentation vat. A microbial population in the rumen digests or ferments feed eaten by the animal.
Conditions within the rumen favor the growth of microbes. The rumen absorbs most of the volatile fatty acids produced from fermentation of feedstuffs by rumen microbes. Absorption of volatile fatty acids and some other products of digestion is enhanced by a good blood supply to the walls of the rumen. Tiny projections called papillae increase the surface area and the absorption capacity of the rumen. The terms anaerobic digestion design and biogas digester are synonymous, as is biomethanation design.
This is due to the fact that the term "biogas" suggests that the plant's primary purpose will be to produce biogas methane , and there are many anaerobic digestion plants both in use today and historically that have not been installed primarily to produce and utilise biogas methane for electricity generation, biofuel for cooking, heating, domestic use, etc.

The main advantages of the biodigesters are: Power generation. Protecting the environment by reducing pollutants uncontrolled waste. Production of an excellent fertilizer. Waste not need treatment before inclusion in the digester. Operation is simple and does not require sophisticated maintenance. Convert biogas to electricity, with the biogas energy converter. The area needed for the processing of excreta is lower when compared to aerobic treatment systems.
Its cost is relatively low and will quickly pay. Anaerobic Digestion Design Biogas Digester The terms anaerobic digestion design and biogas digester are synonymous, as is biomethanation design. Study Tierra del Fuego Tandil, Bs. Phone: ecrsolar.
