It contains the description of the yajnas with elaborate application of Samans at times with the comparisons of the Tandya Mahabrahmana. JB Kanda I describes Agnihotra evening, morning libations of milk respectively to Agni, the fire god and the Sun which is a nitya constant rite. Further It also deals with the Aginstoma one day Soma yajna.
